2001-11-21 An excellent book for all horse lovers!
Christine Pullein-Thompsom's novel is the harry potter of horse books, and the only downside is that its hard to find! I was delighted to find it here, as I own all but the first two in the series. The books show a good understanding of horse knowledge for us horsey-inclined, but even those knowing nothing about horses certainly aren't lost. Everyone I know that I've lent the books to have raved about them, and how much they can relate to the main character in her views. The action is non stop and the plot is excellent. The characters are believable and you find yourself thinking "this reminds me of the time Angus said..." I highly recommend this excellent book! From the beginning trip to scotland to the ensuing danger and excellent ending, its a great book through and through.similar books
