Superb book. The writing style is unique switching between theory and case histories. The emotion of shame has not clearly defined and many therapists/counsellors do not have a grip on it. The closest you will find is it is the opposite of self esteem. This book takes you further. It names shame and it's permutations and brings it to awareness.
