When I purchased this book I was looking for an explaination of my rights and legal recourse. What I got with this book was an scolding, by the authors. Their advice was to stop being a deadbeat and pay my bills.

The only advice that was offered in this book was what had already been given to me by the credit bureau. Basically, this book says to pay all charges on your credit report then wait seven years for it to roll off.

Much better credit repair books are written by Bob Hammond. In his books you find many legal options and remedies to repairing your credit. It puts you on much more even playing field. Most consumer credit companies violate many laws when persuing what they believe is a missed payment. Bob's books give you leverage when dealing with these companies.
