2001-04-03 Worth buying just to enjoy the fantastic music!

If you loved the film, the soundtrack and you can read music, you should definately buy this book. All music makers love to try and recreate their favourite tunes from films and although i bought this book with that in mind i have to warn you that you may be disapointed; this book will certainly enable you to "have a go", but don't expect the soundtrack to come pouring out as soon as you open the page - my idle attempts always annoy me because it never sounds anything like the original tune! Nevertheless, have a go - it's always useful to know the exact notes in the bass riff of "Summer Nights", and the proper words for "Greased Lightening"! It doesn't have all the songs in it as it is a vocal SELECTION, so don't be fooled. If you're a "Grease" fan, it's a must!!
