2005-03-18 Beautiful art and a haunting story
This is a graphic novel I originally came across in France, and really loved. I bought this English edition for my (non-French speaking) husband, and he loved it as much as me. It's a poetic story of two girls in Geneva who each have a hidden trauma they are trying to forget, until Frankenstein's monster enters the mix. It's really mysterious and sometimes surreal in a David Lynch kind of way. Definitely worth looking at if you like graphic novels and don't speak French.last viewed books
