The copy we have of "Babies" is from my childhood. It is one that my sister and I always loved. The illustrations and the lyrical text are appealing to the reader and the child. Now I read it to my two year old son. It is unclear why he loves it so much since his favorite things these days are dinosaurs and swords, but we read it every night.
