I have to say, I could not understand many of the [bad] reviews on here. This is a great book, in a great series. No other authors (apart from Conn Iggulden) get you so immersed in the history of the time. Ok, we all know that this is official fiction based on the facts that are known, but you really feel like it's all real.
This is an essential read for any lovers of historical fiction
