2008-10-11 A great follow up to My Lady Judge
I bought this book because I very much enjoyed Ms Harrison's first book, My Lady Judge. I was very pleased to find that this was just as good. The mystery is very intricate and I certainly did not guess the identity of the murderer. However, I must confess that I mainly read detective stories for the atmosphere and characters. I have always really liked Harrison's heroine, Mara and both her personality and romance develop very well in this book. The best bit, however, is the end.similar books
