2008-04-10 I normally never buy/use textbooks but this is an exception!

Impey is definately worth purchasing. I have just come towards the end of my obs and gynae attatchment, and have been using it for a week, and wish i'd started earlier! It's definately concise, and probably readable cover to cover in a week if you push yourself. I normally never use/buy textbooks or consolidate my learning like I should, and after panicking at the thought of my upcoming exams brought this last week.

I think its brilliant, covers each topic sufficiently and prepares you for exams. I'm reading this cover to cover, and using it as a revision aid by highlighting the book - something completely unheard of for me, and not possible with most books! It's an excellent, informative, concise read and the at a glance boxes consolidate your learning. It's also a lot more readable than Crash Course. Definately 100% worth buying. I just wish there was a similar text for Paeds!
