The wishing chair was found under some bushes, taken into hiding and cleaned up, while polishing the legs little buds formed and turned into wings, this magic wishing chair took the children off on many adventures and with them a little Pixie too, after reading this magnificent book, so well writen, to my children, i went on to find others writen by Enid Blyton, and all are wonderful but the best are, this one, the Faraway Tree and Enchanted Wood, also good short reading are the Adventures of Fairyland etc
