2006-12-16 A strong Christmas title in this popular series

If your child is a Mr Men fan then this is a really good one for Christmas time. Little Miss Christmas works for Father Christmas helping wrap the zillions of presents and she's an efficient worker, unlike Father Christmas himself. When Little Miss Christmas takes a well-deserved break she leaves Father Christmas to finish the last bit of wrapping. However, she returns to unwrapped presents and has to call in the rest of the Mr Men to help. Mr Bump of course can only be allowed near soft toys etc. and my children think the pictures of Little Miss Helpful tangled in sticky tape and Mr Messy's gift wrapping are very funny. I'd definitely recommend this for both boys and girls over the Mr Christmas book which is written in the first person unlike the others so is trickier for the younger child to understand. It's a great companion to Mr Snow for the festive season, and good value within the series.
