It covers the entire fictional history of the island, complete with brilliant artwork as if it were a real explorers journal, with documented behavior on each and every animal, including Kong himself. The book has every creature on Skull Island within its pages and has detailed information on each creatures apperance, behavior and evolution. For example the Vastatosaurus Rex (V-Rex) is shown to have evolved from its Tyrannosaur ancestor and has adapted to living in Skull Island's harsh, unforgiving enviornment.

The book is worth every penny and if you wish to know what happenend after Kong died read this. It hints at a sequel.

This book is a MUST for any fan of Kong and even if you have'nt seen the film, it offers such a good picture of what the world would be like if dinosaurs had not become extinct, that it is worth it just for that.
