2008-02-09 Not his best, but still OK, better than most

I found this Prey story a bit predictable, not as good as the series normally is. It's still very good though - I always think of all the stuff I come across that's close to unreadable when I'm not that impressed with a book. What I didn't like about this book was compared to the other Prey novels, and other books he's written like 'The Night Crew' (which I thought was his best) it's not that great, but compared to the competition in the genre it's still in the top class.
