2006-07-07 Jacks having a bad day, but not as bad as trying to read this

I love 24. It's one of the best show's on telly. So I thought why not have a crack at one of the tie in novels? Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, just a nice bit of escapism on a wet afternoon with Mr Bauer and co. However, this is so badly written, poorly plotted, and just so unexciting I thought I was going to go blind with boredom. It was clearly knocked off in an afternoon to fulful a contract. It's dull dull dull. Avoid at all costs.
