Whilst many believe that Cyrano was a man of myth we are presented a tale that finds perhaps Frances greatest hero as a real man peeling back the layers to allow the reader to meet the real man. As they say from a small acorn a mighty acorn grows and as such it happened with Cyrano in much the same way that Robin Hood has to the British. A great unravelling and something that demonstrates not only a passion to bring this enigmatic hero to the fore but also allows the reader to see the man who pulled himself up from the bootstraps to a position of power. Enigmatic, entertaining and a story to inspire the modern man and something that demonstrates the skill to which Ishbel has attained to allow the reader this real treat.
