i do agree with the other reviewer when they commented that the two lovers fall for each other very quickly so it is lacking at bit of tension between them to carry the story so the sub plot becomes more interesting and the romance is just the foil for the story. i did have an inkling as to who the criminals were but there was enough red herrings to keep you guessing. great read with some passion, crime and all the stuff that make historical romances!!!similar books
