If you're strong enough to cart this giant of a book about, What She Wants is a great read. Despite the slightly heavy-handed, laboured style, it's a classic page-turner that focuses on real women facing life-changing challenges. 2003-06-19 Good read

This was the second book I have read by Cathy Kelly, although it was not as good as Someone Like You, the book was enjoyable. I sometimes felt that the book dragged on a little bit and at times tired of some characters, such as Sam. However, I did enjoy it and I really liked Hope and was shocked by what she does. The book took a while to get into as it was not as light and easy as her previous book I have read. It is a perfect holiday read and Cathy Kelly fans will enjoy this one.
