Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2008-09-21 Too Short But Still Sweet.
The novel is split into two distinct books.Book One continues from the events of 'Warpath' and is the shorter of the two. The book is let down by the fact that it doesn't seem to advance the story much, which left me very disappointed especially considering all the delays this book has endured. Sisko's role as the Emissary was expanded in an interesting way, which was the highlight for me, and Kira Nerys re-examines her past. The book also makes more use of the new Major Cenn character, and the author has done an excellent service to the non-canon characters in general.
Book Two is quite simply superb and has a very similar feel to the Garak novel 'A Stich In Time'. It is all about Illiana Ghemor's life. Growing up in a rich family on Cardassia, then how she became involved in an undercover mission on Bajor, and where she has been for the past 15 years. The dramatic twists and developments in this story are breathtaking, and I was left open mouthed on several occasions at the power of the imagery. I used to like Dukat before reading this.
