Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2001-06-20 Linda's hit the spot...again!!
This book was wonderful. Linda has read my mind...(a mean feat as she has never met me before!!) and written the perfect love story for me. I enjoyed the character of her lead male Reeve Mckenna...his arrogance, which he had a reason to have, his capabilities, his humour, his sterling qualities, his...everything. I liked him very much but sadly this kind of man can only be found in Miller's books! The story kept me very interested. It followed the beautiful Maggie Chamberlain's entry into Australia to find her fiance and work in this unfamiliar country. She too was a very good character...strong, not too silly and independent. The chemistry between the two characters is sensational, let's just say that Linda may have helped to cut the cost of my heating bills!! All the elements were there to make the story terrific, great writing, great plot, interesting characters, including the supporting characters and tasteful passion. I really did not want this book to end and now I cannot wait to read "Angelfire" which tells the story of Reeve's younger brother Jamie.similar books
