2007-05-16 Feisty Fairies
I bought this book, and its companion title, the Sunrise Fairy, for my daughter who can't get enough of anything "fairy". We love the tumble haired Franni, the main fairy, and the story shows that Miss Hardy gets 8 year old girls just right! After a messy sleepover and a mum-directed clean up, Melissa goes into melt-down when her baby brother undoes all her good work. Enter, a very 21st century fairy who provides just this much magic - to get Melissa to change her attitude and laugh a little. Of course, a bit more magic is used to get things spick and span again. I loved that the fairies are all different nationalities and races, and that one of them wears glasses and is still "cool". Very sweet story!similar books
