2008-08-20 ever wonder what happened to fairy tales?

I loved this book, really easy , enjoyable bedtime reading. Took a couple of pages to get into the story, mainly because of American references like SRV, but once I got into it I found it hard to put down. Unfortunately it didn't last me too long! Great book for adults or children. Looking forward to reading the next one. I'm a big fan of Eoin Colfer's books and also chronicles of crestomanci, so this is of the same ilk, but not quite as edgy as colfers. A really great book, worth a read!!
