Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2005-04-29 Good, interesting but there's something missing
Everyone's back for the seventh and second to last in the series (sob) but don't worry as von Zeisgar's next series it girl is coming out soon. So much happens in this book, but I do have to say that 14 year old Jenny, hanging out with super cool band the Raves, is a little far fetched. But that seems to be the theme of the novel as nate and his stoner friends set sail for Bremuda, Blair and Serena get together and the most unbelivable of them all, Blair and Vanessa, yes that Vanessa, move in together. Which is beyond weird. I won't tell you the results of any of this, the books good and must read if you've read the others, but frankly the story just gets way, way, way to american soap opera for the brits and judging by the amazon.com reivews, for the American's too.similar books
