2008-03-17 A real waste of time
Bought this and the official guide from GMAC to prep for the GMAT this year and, I have to say, that this Kaplan guide is worthless. The GMAC guide is the one to get. I don't know where Kaplan is pulling their questions from, but they're not really that emblematic of the GMAT. The quantitative sections, in particular, are worded so obscurely and so intentionally tricky that they're rather pointless. I found a number of errors on test questions, as well, both in the book and on the accompanying CD. Trying to study from this guide is really just an exercise in frustration. Go with the GMAC guide.similar books
