2007-10-23 The Blue Girl

This was my first reading of Charles de Lint. I picked it up in the SF section of the bookshop and was surprised by the fantasy/faerie world, and the fact that it is written for young adults. I was hooked from the first page and didn't pause for breath until half way through. It's very well written. It is gripping, relevant and has a depth and breadth of characterisation and content that shows respect for his readership. Fabulous!
