2008-01-09 disappointed

I definitely can't say that this was terrible, but it wasn't as good as Yellow, Makoto Tateno classic yaoi story. I had some trouble to feel for the characters (except the young uke, he was my favourite), and though there were numerous sexy scenes, they felt a bit contrived.
The book is actually made of 2 love stories interlinked with each other, as it follows the heirs of the family (the present ones for the main story and the previous ones for the secondary story). The artwork is good (though the grandma looks like a badly drawn tranvestite), but the story was a bit boring what with all the supposedly poetic allusions (SO many of them...) of storm and wind and ...eh?! It lacked a bit of fun and humor I think, and was all too serious to be really interesting.
Anyway, not the best from Makoto Tateno!
