2008-02-17 Not worth the money
I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever had to return something to Amazon.Issues I have with this book and the review are:
There are no patterns in this book. If you want to make the clothes, you need to buy the patterns separately (which will probably cost you around £5.00 GBP PER PATTERN)
BUT Even if you like the book, they don't give the pattern numbers from the patterns catalogues they use! So aside from spedning extra money, you'd also need extra time to go through the catalogues and find the patterns.
If you want to buy a book showing you techniques etc, I can recommend Make Your Own Clothes by Marie Clayton and/or The Complete Book of Sewing (Dorling Kindersley), as well as the truly excellent Sew What! Skirts, all of which can be found on Amazon.
If I could rate this item with no stars, I would.
