2004-04-20 Another great girls manga!

From Megumi Tachikawa comes the manga "Mink" or the orignal name for the Japanese title "Cyber idol Mink" This is a girly type of manga, therefore if you are a boy it can not be certain you will like this manga, unless you like other girls mangas such as "Sailor Moon" or "Tokyo Mew Mew" etc...

It is good to see Megumi Tachikawa making a manga totally different from other manga creators and about the entertainment & technology world because she does not know much about it, and thats what I love about manga creators, taking one step futher of creating things which is unique to them and to others.

The story is about a young girl called Mink who has a huge crush on "Illiya" the lead singer of the pop band called Jagunna. Mink hangs out with her two best friends called "Kanoka" & "Mahoko" and one day her friend brought a software disc which states it is published in 2099, basically it is a disc from the future. Kanoka thought that the disc is interesting so she down loads it on to her laptop and all of a sudden it transforms Mink into a star known as "Cyber idol Mink". From then on Mink became a huge star and possibly huger than her crush Illiya, as she has already got singles out & millions of products sold, however Mink can only remain in her cyber idol form for 3 hours and no one really knows who Cyber idol Mink really is & if someone finds out Minks ture identity she will be erased forever so the big question is what will happen to Mink next? now I just can't wait for the next volume to see what happens next!!!!
