2007-12-01 A travesty made of a classic.
Whilst it is an excellent adventure story in its self, it is a great shame that the author had to resort to 'modern day swearing' in parts of the book, she has also distorted the accepted story line by intertwining it with a tale of lust between Beowulf and Grendel's mother ( I know this is also partially in the latest film version .As I said earlier in itself its an enjoyable fantasy book but its not Beowulf.similar books
