I bought this guidebook before my 1st trip to Kiev. The instant I got there, it became redundant as a guide to hotels, restaurant, bars, lifestyle and for maps of the city - more up to date and accurate information on the best places to stay, eat out, nightlife and places to see are found in the nuerous free publications any decent hotel have in their lobby. And as for finding a hotel, I found more information with reviews on the internet.
The book also has infomation on L'viv and Odessa. Fair enough you'd think, but with vital pages being used for these cities so much more information is lost that could have been included. And if anyone would ant to visit Kiev, L'viv and Odessa - surely a guidebook for Ukraine as a country would be a better purchase.
Even for a fiver, this guide book doesn't deliver good value for money. I hope the next edition is vastly improved.
Such a shame it doesn't deliver....
