One of the most intelligent books ever written about the psychology of artistic creativity?
This description of the psychology of artistic creativity, focusing on the visual arts and music, shows that, in addition to conscious, intellectual critical powers, both the child and the creative artist rely on an unconscious, intuitive critical process to give shape to their view of the world.

A rather good book about the psychology of the creative mind - more useful than Freud in many ways but just as difficult to read! A book i dip in now and again for ideas. I think a useful and underated book that should be on the (neuro)art historians book shelf.similar books
