The book is a 95 page script that involves things such as what qualities a Witch Hunter must have and how to deal with Chaos mutants, the cults of Chaos, Beastmen etc.

The book starts off with an introduction of the book's author, Kasper Von Liebenstein, an old witch hunter who is believed to have finally been misled by Chaos after a whole life dedicated to fight Chaos and heresy.
Kasper was given the task by the Lord Protector Thaddeus Gamow to write a manual or handbook to guide novices of the Holy Order of the Templars of Sigmar.
This guide gives some background detail about the Holy Order, how it originated and its events through time.
In addition the book informs about the training, weapons, trappings, special codes that the order uses. A map of the great temple in Altdorf, The Six Holy Principles and The hierarchical structure of the order are also listed within.

After the introduction, Kasper goes through the witches and forms of witch craft found in The Empire. The forms of witch crafts are listed from A-Z with a small description for each craft (some are quite hilarious).
After this he explains how to make the subjects confess their sins and how they are executed (Most entertaining ways).

The main chapters cover The Undead, Beastmen, Chaos cults, Mutations, and Daemonic possessions and including ways of destroying such beings. There are also fine illustrations accompanying the pages of The Witch Hunter's handbook, such as Kunstler'sphrenology head and cultists.

All in all, the book is a fantastic read. It gives the reader great background detail about the Chaos from a sigmaritian point of view and you don't have to read the fouled (and more expensive) Liber Chaotic. You will laugh many times when you read the book, mostly because some of the insane rituals, cults and events that are mentioned throughout the book. The book is still written in a serious manner and you feel like you are reading a handbook and not a comic despite these funny passages.
The book is great for us empire folk who believe in the almighty Lord Sigmar and us who want to know more about the ways of the Witch hunters.

Since it is a pocket sized book, it can be brought to table top games and add some flavour to you as a general. Remember Sigmar is watching.
