2007-09-19 Paul Barber shows himself to be a man of real character
Paul Barber is known to millions as the amiable Denzil from the TV sitcom "Only Fools and Horses" but actually he has had a successful acting career spanning more than 35 years. Such success is even more impressive when one considers his background and tough early life. This book concentrates on his early life and, effectively, the way he and his siblings were let down by the Care system in Liverpool. However at no time does Paul portray himself as a victim. He just tells his story with incredible honesty and good humour. After reading this book I have the greatest respect for Paul. It is an easy and absorbing read and it is a book that deserves the widest audience. It is definitely worth reading.similar books
