Although obviously to do really well you need reference to other texts I found this resource invaluable. Both Constitutional and Administrative law can be hard to grasp, especially if you have not studied Politics before or had no previous interest in the subject (me!) and I found that this book helped me grasp the basics. There was no point in reading the more difficult texts, I found, until I had some knowledge to build on and that's what this book gave me.

It was also particularly useful when it came to writing essays. This book was often my first port of call and would give me a basic skeleton essay which I would build around with lecture notes, cases and other text readings etc. You won't regret buying this book!
