2008-08-01 Brilliant read!
A stylish page turner from start to finish. All about an Edinburgh killing involving a shady young guy with links to people trafficking and prostitution. Dark, dark stuff, but told with real skill and depth. The family sub-plot was handled particularly sympathetically, I thought. Reminded me a bit of Irvine Welsh, but not as heavy on the Scottish dialect. Very, very smart and witty all the way through.I loved this book - it was fast paced and funny - and I'll be first in the queue for the next one. Tony Black is quite a find, a star in the making for sure.
