The short stories written by Saki (HH Munro) are superb; wry, darkly twisted but with the lightest, funniest touch. In my opinion his wit outshines Oscar Wilde's.

I always read them if I feel down in the dumps as they make me laugh out loud, I have read the stories over & over & still love them.
