2006-09-18 An excellent textbook
I used this version as an undergraduate studying 'Combray', and cannot fault it - it has extensive explanatory notes at the back, which contain far more information than you could ever need, and which deepen the average student's knowledge of the French language in additon to clarifying the text itself. My only complaint is that it covers only 'Combray' - it would have been wonderful if it covered all of 'A la recherche...', though I admit I'm probably asking a bit much. If you're going to study this text, buy this version!similar books
