Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

2005-12-06 A super book with all the marks of a classic!
This is a very unusual story about a kangaroo who comes to live on a farm. Now the other animals have never seen or even heard of such a creature. What can a kangaroo do? they ask each other. But no one knows. So that's left to their imagination and each animal starts to believe that the kangaroo is going to take over his or her job. They become so worried about themselves that they do notice that some of the young ones have wandered off and disappeared. That adds to the chaos and a desperate search begins. Eventually all ends well as the true purpose of the kangaroo is revealed. She is a baby sitter, looking after the young ones and carrying them in her big pouch when they are tired. Of course, she is welcomed to the farm and everyone is happy. A superb picture book, very well written and the illustrations are fantastic!similar books
