Jill Mansell, unlike other writers in the rom-com arena, seems to get better with every book she writes. Thinking of You is her latest offering and proves that it is possible to get better with age!
Ginny Holland, a best selling author if left rattling around in her house on her own after daughter Jem goes to university. Lonely, she advertises her spare room for rent. Instead of a happy roommate, she gets moaning Laurel who is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. If that wasn’t enough, Ginny finds herself lusting after two men who can only be bad for her. Will Ginny get the man of her dreams, or will he be the one that gets away?
Mansell has a disarming ability to create characters that you already know and that tends to make her books impossible to put down. This book is no different. It is charmingly written, hopelessly funny and will make you forget all of your own troubles as soon as you read the first page.

Psychology and You introduces psychology by starting from issues which are of interest to all, rather than covering any particular syllabus. It covers such topics as body language, emotions, on being male or female, growing up, how we learn, styles of loving, uses and abuses of psychological tests, the differences between humans and other animals.
In a readable and informal style, this book presents a thorough overview of modern psychology?s approaches to human behavior and emotions, with examples drawn from real?life experiences. Since psychology is first and foremost a practical subject, the authors have included 21 exercises to challenge the reader to think further on topics discussed. Illustrated throughout, the book provides a lively introduction to psychology, for students and non?students alike.
2001-08-25 The Very Best Introduction
I have read lots of text books and introductions to Psychology, but none have made the subject come alive more than this one. If you're planning a psychology course or even just interested - I'd wholly reccomend this book.similar books
