2007-04-18 A book of (small) delights

This book has much to recommend it; the recipes are delicious, and several quickly established themseles as household staples. The book is, furthermore, very well indexed, with dairy free and gluten free recipes clearly marked. As a vegetarian, I was pleased, too, to find that the recipes are designed for agar, rather than gelatine.
My only caveats are that the portions are very small - if it says 'serves six' assume four. New Zealand agar might be different from British, but I have found I need to use half as much again. Despite these quibbles, it is a much loved and much used book.
