2006-08-19 Such a strange and wonderful little book

I can't fault Jeffrey Brown. In his previous books, especially the girl friend trilogy, he has blown me away with a sense of searing honesty. Even though this book mainly strays away from relationships (and how fleetingly beautiful they can be) it does still have its' touching moments. The books greatest virtue though, is we see how funny Jeff Brown can be. It contains a mixture of nervously funny embarrassing truths to outright hilarious surrealism.

This is the perfect book to stick into your back pocket if your facing the prospective dullness of a short bus ride. However the fact that it is so small is my only real criticism.

I want to see more.
