2008-07-19 Disappointing

I bought this book thinking it would have a good guide to creating sensible shopping lists and meal plans - in reality it helped me with neither. There are only 6 sides of paper devoted to shopping plans (pages 6-11 inclusive) and these are no brainers. All the receipes pages are devoted to evening meals only (main entree and desert), there are no breakfast or lunch ideas. Recipes are also mostly geared to USA market. The only useful pages in the whole book are those containing the actual shopping lists to cater for each weeks evening meals. If you want some very basic family meals and have no other cookbooks at home, or are setting up a home for the first time, this book may be useful.
