2008-07-19 An amazing insight
I have read a number of books written by Shaykh Fadhlalla Haeri and each seem to arrive with precision timing. This book is a great start for many but particularly western born or educated muslims that are struggling with a "culture clash".A very inspiring book and unusually rare to receive an autobiography from someone at such a level of contentment.
From reading this book you will gain an understanding of how a young boy, brought up within his own cultures and religion was plucked by an oil giant, exported and educated in the west, returned home to fulfil an executive role for the company to then start to question his surroundings and the void of differences in culture and how this impacts on people.
Thank you.
