I'm someone wandering on an adventure in life. Sometimes the
adventure really sucks, and other times the adventure is fun. Either way
I'm always learning something new, and I think that's the way it should
be.

I am the author of Pop Culture Magick, Space/Time Magic, Inner Alchemy, and
Media Magic (2007) and a co-author of Creating Magickal Entities and Kink
Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla (2007).

I'm the editor of the Magick on the Edge experimental magic anthology and
also the non-fiction head editor of Immanion Press/Megalithica Books.

When I'm not writing and researching, I can be found playing video games,
reading SF and fantasy books, watching anime, practicing experimental
magic, and living life.

I live in Seattle with Tatzelwurm the lizard, Sun Ce the holy Kirin cat,
and Lupa, my lovely wife. We live a polyfuckerous/polyamorous lifestyle,
but she is my guide to the heart of the universe.

You can experience vision quests with each specific transmitter,
working with its spirit, and learning more of how it works.
You can then invoke yourself into the neurotransmitter and get a closer
feel for what it does by embodying your consciousness in it and journeying
with it as it goes through your body. The neurotransmitter acts as a spirit
guide, showing you how it affects your body. Remember that the transmitter
has it own consciousness that you are interacting with. That interaction
will likely not occur in a manner that we think as conventional
communication. For me, the sensations have been tactile and are the effects
the transmitter has on the body. In other words, I am feeling how the
neurotransmitter interacts with the body to produce effects. We must always
remember that our conception of consciousness is biased by our own
consciousness. Anything else, including a cell, will likely have a
different concept of consciousness from our own. Keep yourself open to this
idea and working with the neurotransmitters as spirit guides will be
easier.
