The Little Book of the Brontë Sisters is a 96-page hardback book written by Emily Wollaston. For anyone attempting to explain what makes a truly great writer, the idea of three Victorian sisters, the daughters of a country parson, who lived, quite literally, in the middle of nowhere, with little or no life experience whatsoever, belonging amongst literature's most celebrated authors, might well seem a very strange notion indeed. But we are of course talking about the Brontë sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne, who immortalised the Yorkshire countryside where they lived in such novels as "Jane Eyre", "Wuthering Heights" and "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall".
