2004-05-05 Rock and Star photographer

Anton Corbijn started off with photograpying famous rock bands in the 1970ties and has since taken a lot of great shots and videos with bands like Depeche Mode, Metallica, Travis and of course U2. His style is recognized by capturing very personal portraits of famous people and he used to take all his photographs with a SLR-camera and no extra lightning, these days he uses Hasselblad equipment.

This book represents his earlier work and is well worth buying. To get a broader perspective with more recent shots and better fell for the different types of techniques he uses in the development process - go for the Star Trax book.
